Missile intercept

Watch out! This is a re-interpretation of the classic Missile Command game from Atari.

The game is released as free and open source software. This means that you don't have to pay to play it on your phone and neither do you have to pay to get hold of the source code to change it to make a new game.

How to play

After starting the game you will see missiles launched against your cities descending from the top of the screen. In order to destroy these missiles you must launch your own explosions in such a way that you destroy the inbound missile. You can create an explosion anywhere on the screen by tapping on it. It will take a short while for the explosion to reach its maximum size so you should create explosions in front of where the incoming missiles are headed.

Problems or suggestions?

If you discover a bug or other problem with the game, or even if you have a suggestion for a new feature then please head over to the project support site and make a post there.

Source code

The source code is licensed under the GPL version 3 or later. You are free to copy and redistribute it, but you may not upload a version of the game to any web site including the Felspar logo.

Source code is available via Subversion at

http://svn.felspar.com/public/m-intercept/trunk/

The Android version is nearing completion and can be downloaded from the Android marketplace.
