Syndication is about others being able to use the content of this site in other ways. The usual thing it's used for is to tell people when a site changes. The most popular syndication method is called RSS which may stand for Really Simple Syndication, but official doesn't stand for anything (at least for RSS 2.0 which this site uses).
The desktop software that I use to read news is RSSOwl. For an online reader you may like to try Google Reader. If you use FireFox you can add a live bookmark.
There are three main feeds for the site:
| Complete | ![]() | This feed contains everything, news, articles (both new and changes) and all posts. |
|---|---|---|
| Articles | ![]() ![]() | This feed contains news, new articles but not forum posts. It's everything that appears on the front page. |
| Comments | ![]() | This feed contains only forum posts. |
I'm also planning on putting in place feeds for individual articles and categories. Watch this space… (but don't hold your breath).
